Occasionally you meet someone on LJ that makes a real difference in your life. For me, adafrog has been one of those people. Whether it's a hug or a laugh when that's just what I need, or going so far as talking me down from a full-on panic like she did last week, she always has something to say to make my world just a little bit better. Today is adafrog's birthday, so give her a hug or a laugh and make her world brighter like she does for me every day.

The results are in for the Chicago Tribune’s Best Character on TV Tourney, and The Office’s cluelessly inappropriate Michael Scott (Steve Carell) has triumphed over our own beloved Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) in a landslide. It’s okay, Morgan! We still love you! Preferably from a distance.

Another pwnage worthy of note? In an admittedly close race, Family Guy’s Herbert (the creepy old pedophile voiced by Mike Henry, who frequently lusts after Seth Green’s Chris Griffin) showed Torchwood’s Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) how it’s done.

Spybot, AdAware and Norton are in agreement. There is nothing wrong with my computer.

And yet.

I can't use Google in Firefox, I can't load any Blogspot pages (as well as a number of other websites) in any browser, and I keep getting random IE pop-ups, EVEN WHEN IE ISN'T RUNNING.

I know there is something up. There has to be. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I should stop being surprised by now, but I just.

I despair of this fandom.

Why are all the "Chuck spoilers" that are listed on the spoiler websites actually spoilers for other shows which have a character called Chuck, like Pushing Daisies and Gossip Girl?
